Last week (Friday June 6th), we heard the news from Cape Breton that Gordon Cote died at 64, just shy of his 65th birthday. He had been suffering from a cancer for some time.

Today we heard that Donald MacLellan of the MacLellan Trio died in Toronto last night. He had slipped in the bathtub. At 85, it was pretty serious, unfortunately for the music world.
