I am told that Andrew Calhoun will be the Tom May's guest at the taping of River City Folk this Saturday (6/20) am at the Artichoke in Portland, OR.   It just happens I'll be there.
A while back Tom did an interview with Mark Dvorak, which has not yet played in Chicago. It is great to see that Andrew and Mark are getting recognition.
Tom, if you read this, also consider Tom Dundee for a show.
Art Thieme, did you get to hear Andrew's song about John Prine?

Chris in Wheaton

Chris,

No, I've not heard that yet. But I've always known how important John was to Mr. C's early moves on the Chicago music scene.

Fsharp:

If you do see Andrew, tell him Amos and Daly send their regards. We're friends of his sister Ellen's, and once spent a lovely evening here in San Diego chatting with him, many years ago. I think he's a brill songwriter.
