Sounds like a re-match to me!!! Skullduggery all round! I couldn't possible declare a preference - how could you differentiate between such fine, upstanding gents? Or, in light of recent events, such cheating devious wretches! Although I'm flattered to be thought worth such effort... :o)
However, on looking back through this thread, I think Deanmeister should win on basis of sheer enthusiasm......! Alternatively the rematch could be set on the basis of songs that Jim has no knowledge of (if such a thing were possible) thus removing the unfair advantage he seems to wield at such events!

MC Fat you cad you quiet clearly say "Any Burns song as long as it's not Ae Fond Kiss or Red Red Rose". You did not lay claim on them and I think that this is outrageous.... play fair, afterall YOU banned the singing of these songs (don't believe me then check the tread).

I dont think MCFAT wishes to withdraw - I merely suggestedthat the DeanMeister might possibly have won the hand of the fair lady BIGBIRD - however, the DeanMeisters appalling showing in the Burns Round when he failed to sing a note means that he should have forfeit the duel completely as the rules clearly said 'SING'the sculduggery and bribary were clearly acceptable in the rules therefore perhaps the DeinMeister wants to withdraw and leave the fair BIG BIRD to MCfat after all

The young lady playing the flute who has also been declared the winner is called Rosemary, I believe, not Abigail (unless we're talking about two different peeps).

The young man playing guitar and manfully following Skipjacks changes of key through Pinch of Snuff is Alex, DeanMeister mark 2.

Both added greatly to the session, talented musicians that they are.

Thanks for the initial pictures.
I dispute the captions though: pictures 3&4 show Noreen refusing to be bribed by MCFat. I have witnesses! (Witnesses and the Deanmeister ate the bribe.)

My evidence is still in the industrial-age-technology camera.

The pictures are as follows Number 1 is Wombat; Number two is Raggytash & Les from Hull plus the back of Mags; Picture 3 is Noreen being bribed by McFAT; Picture 4 is Noreen accepting the bribe by McFAT; Picture 5 is Mrs Duck; Picture 6 is TEAM McFAT - Les from Hull my Twusty Third, McFAT, and Raggytash my twusty Second. Actually there was aa good attendance from Catters and the assembled ranks included all of the above + Mags, John from Hull,Bassic, Ooombanjo, Geoff the Duck, Red & White Rabbitt, Old Git, Deanmeister, Smallpiper and if I've missed any soz it's cos the Altzeimer's has kicked in

The result was declared by Noreen to be a dishonourable draw however, after discussions with the DeanMeister I declare him the winner - Big Bird MCFAT is more father figure for you - no Sooty I didnt say grandfather!

However I think most people declared Abigail the winner after her briliant flute playing!

Well I was there and I have no idea who won, although I think the deanie had a distinct lead (he did not resort to bribing the judge) and supporters of MC nearly got lynched for shooting off a water pistol without due care (some very expensive instruments around that are not water tollerant.
