The slieve notes on her CD 'Sleepless', have it as Trad/Rusby with additional arrangement by Ian Carr.

Is this the one that is a (free) translation from a French song? That would explain why no other source for it could be found.

Or am I just having a Murray Walker moment?

I (think) I remember one of Kate's introductions to the song being:

"This song used to be from France, but now it's from Barnsley"

Thanks for the info. We havent had the pleasure of hearing Kate live here in New Zealand .......yet, so its hard to hear what she says as intros to her songs.
