El Burro - (Spanish) A lament for the town burro, who has died. Gallo Del Cielo - Lyrics here in the forum. Gallo Del Cielo is a fighting cock that kills many an opponent but finally meets his match. The Last Leviathan - OK, it's more about species extinction (actual or threatened) than about individual dead animals, but... Barney - Ian Tyson sang this song about having to "put down" a beloved horse. The Roadkill Connection - parody of "The Rainbow Connection" Old Dog Tray - Stephen Foster - I can't remember if Tray dies in the song or not. The source was traced to a farm in Northumberland The disease spread rapidly throughout Britain - with Cumbria being the worst affected. In Scotland, Dumfries and Galloway was one of the first areas to be hit.
