Well Bill D, I think you are right.However, I'm a big fan of Bo Diddley and I'm glad to have picked up on this info on his website.
But you do raise a point: why are so many threads concerned with non Folk/Blues/Trad? Is it because people are scared of being accused of being narrow-minded or is it because, on the evidence of their postings, most of them know sod-all about folk/blues/trad and what these things are and what they are not?

Well, I dunno, I think it's helpful to know if Bo Diddley has a site - I think that's information that could be of some use to folk musicians. I did think the tone of the announcement was a bit heavily commercial. I thought the least I could do is tone down the thread title by changing it from ALL CAPS.

Hey! I thought this was a Folk AND Blues site. Of course Bo Diddley is relevant.
