Subject: RE: any one going to tolpuddle? From: Cats Date: 28 Mar 04 - 05:05 AM Been going for about 20 years and walking with my Regional and national banner every time. Played there for many years in the house bands and friends. Think I'd miss it? The thing not to be missed is what it's all about... look for the moment when the Trade Union leaders walk through the village carrying the wreaths for the grave and lay them in the churchyard. It's small, not obvious, but incredibly moving. There was a reminder that it was on at the Women's TUC conference 2 weeks ago. |
Subject: RE: any one going to tolpuddle? From: The Shambles Date: 28 Mar 04 - 06:20 PM The 2004 details do not seem to have found their way on to a website yet but this should be the place to look - a little closer to the time? http://www.tuc.org.uk/the_tuc/index.cfm?mins=75 I hope your dog can be sat Richard and that you will be able to attend. We won't be able to see you there if you do, as we will be in Ireland over that weekend. Bad planning. |
