Subject: Peggy Smith? From: Walking Eagle Date: 14 Jul 03 - 07:46 PM Do any of you 'catter critters know of a folksinger named Peggy Smith? She put out an album in the mid 80's. She played the dulcimer on her songs and sang half of them in Tsa La Ghy ( Cherokee ). A friend of mine loaned me her album and I taped it. Peggy sang Fair and tender Ladies in English and Amazing Grace in Tsa La Ghy. I believe she lived in the western North Carolina area. Just wondering. |
