I'm having trouble finding any reference anywhere to an old blues lyric:

Got no money, honey,
No place to call my own, (x2)

Got no one to love me,
I'm in this world all alone.

Anyone remember this one and can refer me to a source for the lyrics and chords? I don't even remember the name of the song or who sang it.

Many thanks.

Arthur Big Boy Crudup. Check Harry's Blues lyrics from time to time- very hard to get in. "Got no one to love me."

GOT NO ONE TO LOVE ME, recorded in 1968-69 by Arthur "Big Boy" Crudup and Willie Dixon, is on the album "... Meets the Master Blues Bassists", Delmark CD 621, 1994.

I was able to transcribe one line from a sound sample:

"Each night at my bedside I remember you in my prayer" (2x)

Finally got into Harry's; it's not there. Found lots of others with 'got no money' but not this one.
