Subject: Tune Add: NEW MOWN HAY From: Ian HP Date: 30 Aug 98 - 07:29 PM Dick, I had cause to look up New Mown Hay recently and found it incomplete and without a tune. I posted the full words a week or so ago, so here's the tune. X:1 T:New Mown Hay M:4/4 L:1/8 Q:160 C:Trad. Subject: RE: TUNE ADD: NEW MOWN HAY From: Joe Offer Date: 30 Aug 98 - 07:57 PM Hi, Ian - I can't get these tunes to play. Part of the problem is that the heading is all mashed together because you don't have the HTML line breaks [br], but in angle brackets instead of the square ones. I don't think my ABCMUS likes it when you change meter mid-song. I don't know if it works on other players or not, but it sure won't work on mine. Also, it would have been better if you had used the filter or the forum search and found the threads where these songs appeared originally, and then posted the tune in a thread that already contained the lyrics. It makes things easier to find when the lyrics, the tune, and the discussion of a song are in one thread instead of several. Can you do anything to fix the tunes and post them in the original threads? Then I'll delete these. Thanks. -Joe Offer- |
