Help! I've been trying to find a source for tapes of the Allen Street String Band. Everything I find points to Marimac Records, but I can't find a current contact for them, either (did they go out of business when I wasn't looking?). I even tried emailing Dave Landreth through his webpage and got nil.

Also looking for an early recording by a fiddler from the Midwest named Rhys Jones (he recorded with Steve Rosen and Fred Campeau of the Volo Bogtrotters, but I want his earlier solo tape). Last I heard, he was in the Chicago area.

If there are any Midwestern Mudcatters who know where I might get ahold of ANY of these, please let me know.

I have been looking for any of the Marimac albums I can find and it is very very hard!
I would love any tips of where to find some of them.
Thanks
Drew

John Hatton would be the person to ask. He sells recordings of all types at Clifftop. He has a website at http://www.cleffd-ear.com but it seems to be completely inactive. He is on facebook.

Dave Landreth is on facebook as well. I think Marmac went out of business awhile ago.

Marimac has been dysfunctional for several years now.
