Subject: RE: 11th August - music in Barton-Le-Clay From: Oaklet Date: 12 Aug 03 - 05:35 AM Next time, we'll send the crack team of naked bassonists from the Sloop session that now takes place in the bar from Star Wars in proper Barton, not that sissy southern job with the hyphens. Anyway, you'd never find any hyphens in this neck of the world. |
Subject: RE: 11th August - music in Barton-Le-Clay From: GUEST,Ross Date: 12 Aug 03 - 07:52 AM Normally we're called 'Barton in the mud' But we like to keep it posh, in case any Americans are surfing Perhaps we ought to do another mobile phone linked session I thought it was Barton-on-Humber or something? We were all naked last night anyway - isn't that normal? |
Subject: RE: 11th August - music in Barton-Le-Clay From: Oaklet Date: 12 Aug 03 - 10:16 AM Normal mate, but I reckon if we removed all our piercings, we could weigh-in a staggering 450 grammes of silver, gold plate and in my case cupro nickel. Bulk in the corner's Prince Albert is probably 75 grammes of the total. I have just noticed some hyphens, so will lambast sissy Barton for having silly affected Norman conquest slang in its Sunday-best name. The next satellite link could be tonight, but my husband and I cannot attend as he is on route, and I am still here, painting henna on the rim of my bassoon in readiness for tonight's session. Irish music is fine, but Indian music on the trombone is just sublime. My first rag lasts for 14 minutes. My word, am I going to be very popular in Abbeyfeale - Le - Dull, county Limerick later. |
Subject: RE: 11th August - music in Barton-Le-Clay From: Ross Date: 13 Aug 03 - 03:36 AM Sounds good We will strive to be more northen It's not easy being a ponsy, wimpy southerner Theres hardly any quality food at the Co-op & the slave markets have been slow Ay, oh - it's grim down south |
