Subject: Park 'n Fly - Leahy From: black walnut Date: 12 Aug 03 - 08:44 AM Yesterday, we were in a Park 'n Fly van at the Toronto Pearson airport, on our way home from Nova Scotia - and at one stop, a couple of guys climbed in with what looked like fiddles, an elecric keyboard, and some luggage. One of the guys sat down beside us. I asked him what band he was with. He answered, "Leahy". The band was on its way home from performing at the Minnesota Irish Fest in Minneapolis. He asked us about the Lunenburg Folk Harbour Festival, and we talked all the way back to the parking lot. Nice way to end a trip! ~b.w. |
