Anyone know of a mid-range ( sub 500 quid ) mandolin with a slightly wider neck than standard. Stefan Sobell does a nice one, but, hey......
Thanks
Jonathan

My spare is a Gianni which has a sensible width and was not horribly priced . I think its a case of 'keep looking' or bite the bullet and spend the money.

Jonathan

Perhaps you could check out a Paul Hathway? Nice plain instruments with good wood, build and tone. If I remember well, the necks are not too narrow. Price range should be about right.

Peace,

moo
