It was to the tune of 'My Bonny Bairn-i-o' (Oh, the shearing's not for me my bonny bairn-i-o etc.) I remember Ian Walker did it in the 80's but I don't know if he wrote it or if he still does it now:-(

The phrase, if memory serves me well, is 'My life's greatest thrill'.

Hope this helps

Dave the Gnome

Aw, Dave beat me to it! ;-)

I was just going to say the same thing (more or less). By the way, Skippy, Lybia is spelled with a 'y'. And the search engine looks for words in the text as well, not only in the title...

Lybia is spelled with a 'y'.

But not in that place - Libya is how it's been spelt since Roman times.

Spellinmg isn't that important - but I think it's only good manners to make sure to get the correct spelling for countries we bomb. And it avoids unfortunate misunderstandings such as mixing up Iran and Iraq and Gambia and Zambia.

I only hope Bush hasn't got Libya and Liberia confused. Whose job would it be to tell him?

now, Art..it was spelled correctly for you right above..*grin*...

(wonder what he does with linguistic discussions of "bi-labial fricatives"?)

Didn't someone invade Falkirk in the 1980's?

McGrath,

well, that should teach me for being so cheeky all the time! I try to comfort myself with the thought that another 33,100 people spelled LibYa with the Y in the wrong place (2,230,000 spelled it correctly, at least on Google).

Thanks for the lesson, anyway ;-)
