Subject: Lyr Req: Looking for lyrics to a song From: GUEST,Heather Date: 19 Aug 03 - 11:26 AM I have been looking for the lyrics to a song that I have heard and I can't find it anyplace. I think the name of the song is Look to the East but I am not sure. Part of the refrain is
"Look to the east, look to the east, look to the east where the cold wind blows. |

Subject: RE: Lyr Req: Looking for lyrics to a song From: Jim Dixon Date: 24 Aug 03 - 01:18 PM Steve Poltz wrote a song called "Look to the East" and recorded it on his album "One Left Shoe", in 1998. Dwayne Ford wrote a song called "Look to the East" and recorded it on his album "Another Way To Fly", 1997. The Los Angeles Jazz Quartet recorded a "song" called "Look to the East" on an album by the same name in 1997. Larry Koonse, a member, composed it. (I put "song" in quotes because I don't think the piece actually has words; nobody is credited as a vocalist on the album, according to AMG.) BMI lists 2 other songs called "Look to the East": one by Lou Forestieri, and one by Gwendolyn Giles Johnson. Forestieri has written music for several movies and TV shows. |
