I just went to pay for Sunnycamp and they said OOPS...they had another group all registered..we had reserved this way long ago. They did offer us another facility but it just wouldn't be private..it would be shared with other groups and we couldn't make noise etc. So I might have to switch to October 10 11 and 12, which actually is a better day for most people and some even have a long weekend.

Could people chime in immediately on what works for them..the 3 4 and 5 at the same camp is now definitely out.

The latest is that I don't think we will change the date after all. The people WHO HAVE ACTUALLY PAID can't easily change..

I am familiar with the other site..it is actually a more "luxurious" site..it is the main camp that the church group runs. We would probably be the only people there. It is on the ocean side and therre are hikes to the ocean..it is not right on the ocean, which is good if a tsunami comes that weekend..it is sort of on a hill overlooking it. It is in better shape than Camp Morehead.

My only problem with it is that I absolutely love the Camp Morehead location but I think we might have to just bite the bullet and go with this other camp this year. They are making us a good deal because they know they screwed up....
