I'm wondering what good music workshops have been done at various camps..We have another Sunnycamp coming up...

It will probably be a small but very excellent bunch of group singers...besides the standard sea shanties, gospel, parodies etc...any suggestions. We will be having a West Virginia song workshop, led by a West Virginian ex-patriot...I am hoping also for songs of Africa and songs of the Columbia River region..some great local songwriters are hoped for...

Some great workshops I have been to..probably the all time best was Jewish songs..and it turned into specifically songs of or about the Holocaust...it was extremely moving...a great weaving one..I often sign up one called the Rose of this and that but no one ever comes to it..

Here are some I'd like to see...

Great commercial jingles.

Folk versions of Metallica lyrics.

Kenny G songs put to music.

(Just kidding, good luck!)
