Subject: Our Tam From: GUEST,mamphiek@hotmail.com Date: 30 Aug 03 - 11:28 AM I am trying to locate songs my grandmother who is from Aire in Scotland used to sing. I can only remember bits and pieces. Our Tam is a story about a girl and her boyfriend who keeps embarrassing her its verses are all joined by the phrase "The next time I saw our Tam" As in "the next time I saw our Tam I was with me mither" and they usually end with "I was niver so muckleafronted in all me lif" Its more of a rhythmical poem than a song I guess. If you have any ideas let me know |
