i've just released volume one of my Beginning Dobro DVD set. it's designed for complete beginners. i don't think that there is much out there for the real beginner so i'm hoping this helps fill that void. i'm currently editing the second volume and hope to have it available soon. the first one covers gear, tone production, intonation, damping/muting,vibrato, phrasing melodies, scale patterns, hammer-ons and pull-offs, and includes 3 tunes to put all this stuff into, wabash cannonball, weave & way and wildwood flower. if you wish to order or want more info shoot me an email to orvillej AT comcast DOT net for details.
