Subject: Lyr Req: The Border Trail. From: LadyJean Date: 05 Sep 03 - 12:41 AM I'm going to the Ligonier Highland Games, as I have since I was a teenager. When they played "Road to the Isles" at the games, my mother used to sing the chorus of the Canadian version, "The Border Trail". Does anyone know all the words. I know you have "Road to the Isles". But I couldn't find the Canadian version. |

Sounds like depending on the placenames, it would be hard to decide. If no one else gets a chance to dig out Border Trail from RUS, I'll see if I can get the information from a friend. |

Did you notice that in the second link I gave, it has both the Lake Duncan chorus posted by Joe Offer. The rest of the song is identified in differences from the DT version. Glad we could help. |
