I think it's a little easier to understand, but I still have difficulties with parts. Here's my transcription.

It's the same essentially, just a rearrangement of the words. Different versions maybe? :P

I have been looking for the lyrics to "Mumble Grumble" for several years and can't seem to find them. This may not even be the title of the song but is definately in the chorus.

We sang this in my grade school music class (early 70s) and I'm not sure how old it was then.

The chorus went like this: Mumble grumble, this is no fun. You don't have to like it but its got to be done.

The song itself was about chores commonly performed by kids.
