Nit really a new club but a new venue,
Cottingham Folk Club have been running sucsessfully for 20 years now, but have recently moved to a bigger venue, it is at=
Northern Foods Social Club, Millhouse Woods Lane, Cottingham, HU16 4HB.
The Folk Club is every Wednesday at 8.30pm. Its a big club, with a big car park.

Does that mean that there are more tickets available 4 Tanglefoot, as my better half can not get any, and wants to run away with the double bass player, along with half the other ladies in cottingham. (Or)    is it a plan and only one of them has bought ALL the tickets.

yes it is a bigger venue and yes ALL of the ladies in Cottinga want to run away with Al the bass player, and we were standing room only. Having had the thankless task of turning people away at eric bogle and having a fair amount of verbal for it, I have to say I look forward to a larger venue. For special concerts there will be a larger venue available .(note- Jez Lowe bad pennies and James Kelaghan will be staged at Cottingham High School and the Melstock Band will be at the Methodist Hall.)What we lacked in space we made up for in atmosphere -so here's hopng it continues! feresh, its tonight, the buses from hull to Cottingham are the East Yorkshire Bus Company numbers 103,104 and 105, if anyone doesent know where it is, it is on Northgate, right next to the kitchen showroom, near the train crossing.

Tonight features Lyric(a trio)and Beth and John. All locals and well worth a hearing. Tickets £3 on the door. Come along for a good evening's entertainment.
