Subject: Tech: string tuning program-like Korg for PC From: Bill D Date: 16 Sep 03 - 02:52 PM I just found this..it is a little digital tuner for the PC...small but clever! http://members.chello.hu/laszlo.arvai/minituner/ I downloaded it and tested it and it worked immediately. I used a mic, but you can connect it directly to sound card if you wish. It has both guitar mode and chromatic mode with different octaves available. I suppose one 'could' put it on a floppy disk and carry it around. Neat toy. |

If that PDA had a mic or an input... seems to me, a good tuner in yer case is much more valuable... Actually, come to think of it, it'd be really good for tuning wind insts.... flute, whistles etc... Now I gotta give it a try! :-) |

I have downloaded it but have yet to try it. As I have not yet bought a stand-alone tuner (a real cheapskate, me) it could prove very useful. Thanks again for thinking of us all. Cheers for now.
