Dwight & Dave are hosting a 3 day intensive workshop for Old time Banjo & Fiddle, November 8,9,10. for Beginners.   And 14, 15, 16, November for Intermediate Banjo & Fiddle,

I've been to both the fiddle and banjo workshops and they are GREAT - They've done my playing a power of good - even if I say so myself.

You may "say so yourself" you are quite entitled to. Dwight also got me started and I am still learning. I play his tape ever day in the car.

Do we know if they will be appearing at the White Swan in Dronfield as usual?

I just saw Jeff Davis sunday night in Calver - excellent concert, master multi-instrumentalist, fine fiddler, good singer, much knowledge of many US folk styles. Go to Nellies Tonight!

Dave Bing and Dwight Diller are also returning for the Friends of American Old Time Music and Dance (FOAOTMAD) 10th festival at Gainsborough, Lincs. (UK) February 13-15th 2004. Other guests include Tom, Brad & Alice, Debby McClatchy, Sara Grey & Kate Lissauer, Rough Deal String Band and New Deal String Band. More details when available on Ray's Blicky, so add it to your favourites (or join!).

Debby, Tom, Brad & Alice will also be doing a small tour afterwards.

I'll get another thread going nearer the time.
