Yeah, should be back on the road about the beginning of November, Raggy. Either in time for Sat 1st at Rose and Crown, Hornsea, or Sunday 9th at Sun Inn, Beverley. Should definately be fixed up by 25th.

I broke my wrist falling off my horse. mmm...tips on how to get better....well after bout a wk n half i had cut the top half of my cast off, then the following week went swimming with it....

   ....no your right i dont have any common sence!

But it did heal right.

Talked to the lad himself this morning and all reports suggest the Yammy is well and sound - apart from it's usual complement of broken strings!!!!!!
Oh,and he is feeling alright and might put in an appearance at Rog,s sess at the "Sun" tomorrer.

I had a similar injury about 25 years ago. As it was my pick-hand instead if my fingering hand, I can't really offer Pete much in the way of what-to-look-forward-to. However, I can tell you that bonecrusher handshakes still produce grimaces, just not the screams that they used to.

By, the way. No mention was made of a guitar being involved in this accident. I certainly hope that's the case. Pete will mend. And motorcycles can be repaired or replaced. But guitars are a different matter all together.

The DeanMeister - famed guitarist with that imfamous band of Rouges - Punch the Horse - has done his self an injury. He fell of his motorcycle and thought nothing of his injuries (but was really pissed off about his bike being in bits). He went on to play a fabulous PTH gig on saturday. Wondering why he was having so much trouble playing Bminor cords he took himeslef off to hospital where they x-rayed him and anounced that he had a fracture in his left hand. They referred him to a specialist (who happens to be a Piper called Alex that NikNak and I met at a teaching weekend and is therefore a sound bloke) who has decided to keep the Deanie in hospital and perform a nasty little opperation on his hand. One that involves wires and screws and stuff. Making Deanie a bonafide Bionic Guitarist.

I am sure that the whole of the Cat community (hence this seperate thread) would like to join together and wish the DeanMeister a speedy and full recovery.
