I´ve written a parody of "I was only 19" and I wonder if anyone knows how I can contact Redgum to see what they think of it and my desire to record it next time I´m recording my songs.

If you want, I´ll post the words here but they take some qualifying.

Redgum have been defunct for several years (alas). But the person you need to contact is John Schumann who wrote the original. You can contact him at schumann.com.au/john.
