Myself and some fellow folkies will be enjoying the great outdoors around Malham (near Skipton and Settle) from 27 Dec to 4 Jan.
Any folk clubs, sessions, singarounds, ceilidhs or the like going on within not too far a drive?

Sunday there will be Ripon Folk Club at the Oak Tree Inn, Copt Hewick ( just outside Ripon, on the road past the racecourse), I know you'd be welcome.

There's sometimes impromptu sessions in the Helwith Bridge Hotel on Friday & Saturday nights (between Stainforth & Horton In Ribblesdale, on the Austwick & Clapham Rd)depending on who's in, quite often folk just turn up and get a session going. There's also a caving club bunk house close by where guests can kip.
