The grassroots outpouring speaks volumes to the effect Paul Wellstone had on this nation, not just here in Minnesota. And I love the "Carry It Forward" theme. I am certain those killed a year ago today are smiling down on us from heaven this day! Austin, Texas coffee shop/club Cafe Mundi, 1704 E. 5th St, Austin, TX, hosts a night of local musicians and speakers starting at 6 p.m. Berkeley, Ca - ERNIE MANSFIELD & FRIENDS at a house/birthday party, 8pm - 11pm, 1540 Sacramento St., RSVP - 510-524-2055 Bettendorf, IA - ANNE FEENEY and CHRIS CHANDLER will be performing an evening of folken word (left-leaning political folk music/spoken word, satire & comedy) at the United Steelworkers Union hall in Bettendorf, IA. 880 Devils Glen Road, 7:30.
