Tech: Flummoxed-can't find previous printer answer

I know I've asked this before and it was answered and the answer was simple, but for the life of me I cannot find it (or, remember it!), not even using the advanced search, so, please bear with me while I ask it once more. And, please know, this time I will file it in my favs. or something so that I have it handy. Okay, here goes:

my printer has begun printing my email addy at the bottom of pages I print from email and the internet. It usually prints the url. How do I switch it back? I've looked at print properties and find nothing likely. I've also looked at Internet Options and don't see anything, as well in My Computer.

If you're still using IE, look under "File" "Page Setup." The "header" and "footer" entries are Excel style, using a bunch of &## junk.

A typical header entry (maybe the default) is:

&w&bPage &p of &P

with a footer:

&u&b&d

Just clear the header and footer boxes.

JohninKS, I am pretty sure you were the one to answer me before and I even used your name in the advanced search. Now, I'll have to go check my PMs...I hate to not find something when I go looking.:-)

I don't remember seeing this one before, but I happened to have run into it recently, when the URLs disappeared on LiK.

Nice page MMario linked. I'll have to look at it again. We probably cross-posted, but he beat me there because I had to code all the *%#$! &s.
