It's a haunting little ditty that starts:

In the land of skin and sorrow
Lies a heart of purest gold
Who is calling for the lost ones
To come back into the fold.
Some will wander home today,
Some hold back until tomorrow,
But the door will soon be closing
In the land of skin and sorrow.

Has anybody else heard this one? It's driving me bonkers!

Well, I thought it was a typographical error, but I found out that "Land of Skin and Sorrow" was written by Eliza Gilkyson. It was on her 1989 Legends of Rainmaker" CD on the Gold Castle lable. Gold Castle is out of business.
