I note that masato sakurai, who posted the links to the lyrics and MIDI files above, is still active here, but her links are broken. Any chance of posting links to a site that is currently active? My mother, who grew up in Kansas, is having a 100th birthday next week, and it would be cool to be able to sing that song with her, but I don't actually know it. Thanks.

Are the Autry one and the Campbell one the same song? Autry's is listed as by Mack David and Campbell's is listed as by Diamond (no first name).

This song is well-known among theatre composers because it's the one Jerry Herman plagarized in "Hello, Dolly!"

I think it's "Sunflower", a Gene Autry song. The Record Lady's All-Time Country Favorites has his recording; go to REQUESTS PAGE EIGHT. Bing Crosby also sang this (Glen Campbell too?). Lyrics with MIDI file & NWC file are here (CLICK).
