Hi,

Anyone know what the Battlefield Band are up to these days? I listened to a tape of their's a lot about 7 or 8 years ago, but kinda lost track of them?

they're in Cleveland Ohio this Thursday (tomorrow) Nov. 6. 7 & 9 PM shows at Nighttown in Cleveland Hts.

web site will give you all the other info, e.g. one original member (Alan Reid), who the new members are, etc.
(Mike Katz, Alasdair White, & Pat Kilbride, who was previously with the band in the 70s)

We see Brian McNeill (former member, founding member, I believe) in the States quite a bit.

Since the Celtic Jerry Garcia, Alasdair Russell, left, they just aren't the same, but I love it that they keep right on after every reshuffle. The band was older than John McCusker when he joined them, and John is also now a former member.

I know they are playing at the Flyind Cloud Folk Club in Toronto Ontario Canada sometime soon.
