There is an old song once sung by Oscar Brandt called "We Go to College" which has the lyrics "We go to college/ college go we/ we never lost our virginity . . . " and unfortunately, that is all I can remember. It was on one of the BAWDY SONGS albums, which has been lost from my collection. Any help on the lyrics? Thanks!

I suggest you search you local and regional libraries (especially college or university ones) for a copy of "The Erotic Muse" by Ed Cray (Univ of Illinois Press, 1992) . He devotes 7 pages to the song and includes 30-40 verses and variations of verses, which is too many for my clusmsy fingers to type in. The song was apparently popular in Sororities and Fraternities, and maybe still is popular. I will put in 4 verses. I don't know which ones Brand recorded.

In case it is not realised by those of the USA persuasion, this song is known in the UK as Whoredean or Roedean School. It is not in the DT but it if you type Whoredean into the Forum search (Sorry, I can't do clickies)you'll find a thread on Rugby Football Songs which should provide you with a number of new verses.
