Subject: Tech: audacity- how to add some time at end of From: Robin2 Date: 09 Nov 03 - 12:35 PM I am a brand new audacity user, and the first thing I would like to do is add a little time at the end of my existing sound files. When they were mastered, they just did'nt allow enough time between songs. Sounds simple to do, but I just can't figure it out from the help files. Any help from users here? Robin2 |
Subject: RE: Tech: audacity- how to add some time at end of From: Amos Date: 09 Nov 03 - 12:43 PM ONe way is to copy a chunk of the file, paste it at the end and then select the whole addition and choose "Generate"==>"Silence". May not be the best or most elegant way but it will work! Regards, A |

Subject: RE: Tech: audacity- how to add some time at end of From: Bill D Date: 09 Nov 03 - 01:14 PM yer quite welcome *smile*..sometimes it takes awhile to get the 'feel' of how programs & menus work... I tend to read EVERYTHING in the menus, whether I understand it or not, and eventually one day a light dawns..."oh...so that's what it means" |
