I would like to three quarters thank you for everyone who turned up and had oodles of fun singing,drinking and just generally being bally good sports at mine 49 3/4 's at Saltersgate (plus Dave Broxholmes an all). Next year it's Reg's 59 3/4's and Brian and Dewsbury Pat's 49 3/4. Plus there may even be a 1/4 do in Feb/Mar

I keep thinking that maybe if I keep reading the posts from you Hullers/Hullites/Hullmen that eventually I will learn to understand, but I am forced into the conclusion that it is not really English you speak and write, but something that only looks like English.

Makes me think of the Navajo code talkers.

well I dont think MCFAT would be too chuffed with you perplexed - he's a scot who lives in Sheffield I am a hullensian by living not by birth and havent lived there for 22 years so unless you dont understand deadhorse (and I dont know if he is from hull) I am not sure what you mean either but you are quite right 'ull does look a bit like English

Next 1/4 and 3/4's could be in Whitby and perhaps based at Tap & Spile (if Pete and Sherry don't mind) folks could then book their own cottages etc. Post any ideas here potential 1/4 dates are half term next year end Feb/begin Mar (i.e 13/2-22/2). The 3/4 has the traditional date of early Nov (probably 5th Nov).
