Does somebody know if there are recordings available of ballads of the cangaceiros? I'm looking particularly for the Ballad of Lampiao. I heard a version of it in the soundtrack of the movie: Antonio Das Mortes. Thank you. Roberto

The title of the ballad about the cangaceiro Lampiao visiting Hell is titled: A Chegada de Lampião no Inferno. Are there recordings of this ballad? Are there recordings from the 20's and 30's of traditional songs from the North-East of Brazil? Is the soundtrack of Antonio Das Mortes available? Roberto
