Richard Thompson just appeared on the NPR news program with Liann Hansen performing songs on his acoustic guitar that apparently are also to be found on his new live recording called "A Thousand Years of Popular Music". He sang Shennandoah (beautifully, IMO), the Britanny Spears tune above and an original and it sounds like he does some G&S and I think I heard a Prince song. I'm not sure I got all the info correct but the broadcast can be found at npr.org according to Liann. vl

Liann Hansen sounded like a school girl with a crush. I heard his Shenandoah. Nicely done.
