Hi. I am looking for the lyrics to a song called (I think) "Don't Let Smokey Mountain Smoke Get In Your Eyes" . I heard it at a recent jam.

Thanks!

It's an old Osborne Brothers song. I thing that it was an attempt to follow up their great success with Rocky Top; anyway, I'm certain that you can find it on one of their older albums.

DON'T LET SMOKY MOUNTAIN SMOKE GET IN YOUR EYES
Cecil A. Null

CHORUS: Don't let Smoky Mountain smoke get in your eyes.
If you do, I'm tellin' you,
You'll want to live there the rest of your life
If Smoky Mountain smoke gets in your eyes.

If you're looking for a place you will love,
Smoky Mountain Cherokee,
The closest place to Heaven that I know of
Smokey Mountain, Tennessee. CHORUS

Gatlinburg, precious jewel, the mountain treasure
Smoky Mountain paradise,
You'll want to live in the Smokies forever
If Smoky Mountain smoke gets in your eyes. CHORUS
