David,

This song was a hit for Kenny Rogers and the First Edition in 1968. For lyrics, click here. We tend towards folk songs and blues here.

Subject: Searching FOR Lyric for 1960's American song
From: David

Once many years ago, I heard a song on the local oldies station. It was of the 60s psychedelic-rock variety. I dont know the artist, album, or even name of the song. Any info on that stuff is what I am looking for. Hopefully, it will ring a bell with someone here. This (I think) is a part of the chorus:

"I just dropped in to see what condition my condition was in."

Anyone? Anyone?

:)
