Kieran has added the following footnote in his Songbook One
"My thanks to Werner Mantel,Burgermeister (Lord Mayor) of Ebelsbach for translating this song into German and getting his local Lutheran Church Choir to sing this and thereby changing it into a hymn. For years I've been trying to convince my mother that it's alright to be a musician,that it's a perfectly honourable and decent occupation.I had thought of telling her about this song being sung in a Lutheran church, but being a good Irish Catholic she would probably feel that I was now writing for the enemy"

The song is "Farewell to Pride" from Kieran's "Moving Air" CD.
I've got the words and will try to find time to list them.
If you're interested they're included in Songbook One which you can buy through Kieran's web site. (no I'm not on commission - just a fan)
