(as in the film title) "Coyote Ugly" = when you wake up after a boozy night lying next to someone so ugly that you would cut/chew your own arm off (that they're sleeping on) rather than risk waking them by removing it (and so having to kiss them goodbye)

Nigel

Mean enough to kick puppies.
Tough enough to eat bullets and use the farts to hunt ducks.
Baaaaaaaaaad drunk.
So mean he'd kick his momma's crutch away.
So mean he enjoys being sick so he can give it folks.
Ugly enough to scare the coyotes off a gutpile.
Ugly as ten miles of homemade mud fence.

gee...you might wanta read about The Ugly Islands for some perspective on THAT part of your search. I'm not sure adjectives abound, but descriptions sure do!

(I remember a line about a kid SO ugly, the family had to tie a pork chop around his neck to get the dog to play with him!)

Face like a smacked arse is a common Lancashire expresion for a miserable look:-)

Rat-arsed (for drunk) I think is UK nationwide but very common round here.

Cheers

We'll rant and we'll roar, like true British sailors
We'll rant and we'll roar, all night in the pub
Like true Shellbaks born, who've been twice round the horn
We get half-seas over each week at the club.
