We'll be back at the Old Black Boy, High Street, Hull on Sunday (starting about 2.30pm) for the regular third Sunday session. For those who don't know it's a combined tunes, songs and poems (or perms as they're called here) session. We have a new landlord (Alan) and he's looking forward to selling you all some of his lovely beer.

Shame you was not there Linda, it was a great artenoon.

Probably we'll go on until about 6, possibly later. It's always easier to give a starting time than a finishing time but it depends on who turns up.

The Kingston Wanderers are proud to announce another singing/playing etc. session.

Sunday 8 February at the Cask and Cutter (Oberon), Queen Street HULL 3pm onwards.

Brid Widder, Beardy and I popped in on Saturday night and we were pleased to find out that the Cask and Cutter will be getting its old name of Oberon back. It's also getting hand-pulled guest beers on. The landlord is a nice bloke and he's happy for us to use the back room (bare floor - good acoustics!). Queen Street is the street that lead down to the pier, down from Lowgate. Turn right on Castle Street.

It'll be (sort of) Maggie's birthday do, as she will be away for her actual birthday.

Les

Big thanks to those who turned out at the Kingston on Saturday - great to see you all. There should be more Kingston Wanderers sessions in the New Year when The Fragrant One and I get back from Whitby. Friday or Saturday nights in nice pubs in and possible around Hull.

This session is mainly British Isles tunes and songs, but I'm sure that Freddie would be welcome if he dropped in, as indeed would you, my dear. As far as I know the blues piano session is on a Thursday night.
