Subject: RE: Lyr Req: Suzie Anna, Susiana, waltz aka put your From: Q (Frank Staplin) Date: 15 Dec 03 - 02:20 PM Doubtfully suggested, but "Susie Waltz" by A Schumann, 1872, in American Memory. La Varso(u)vianna (sometimes corrupted to Put your little foot) is still very popular and traditional in Mexico and New Mexico (we all had to learn to dance this figure in grade school in Santa Fe and Albuquerque). |

Subject: Lyr Req: Suzie Anna, Susiana, waltz aka put your From: nancyjo Date: 15 Dec 03 - 12:42 PM I am looking for a song called THE SUSIE ANNA WALTZ. I have no idea how "susie anna" is spelled. It could be suzianna or any variation. It also might be called "Put your little foot down". I'd be grateful for any assistance. nancy jo |
