In light of last week's news that the city of Boston is determined to purchase prescription drugs for their employees and retirees in Canada, it has occured to us that it is time for a new Boston Tea Party. We think that the citizens of Boston should take their empty prescription vials and throw them into the Boston Harbor! Perhaps the trend would take hold and the reflection pool on the Washington D.C. mall could be used as well to protest the failure of the FDA to approve importation of drugs from Canada and other countries. There is NO evidence to indicate that the drugs purchased in Canada are unsafe.
