Well, you should have been there. At the Boar's head in Middlewich on Friday that is, to see His Worship & The Pig prove once again that they must be one of the most under-rated duos on the folk scene.
This event, which is just the first in a series of events staged by Salt Town Promotions, really was something very special.
Our thanks to HW&TP, and to everyone who helped with the organisation.
Most of all, thanks to everyone who bought tickets and came along to make the first of these occasional folk nights a resounding success.
Incidentally, the first glimmerings of the 2004 Middlewich Folk & Boat Festival have appeared. There's a listing of the first artists to be confirmed on our website at www.salttownpoets.co.uk
