To quote Alan Hardy in news:uk.music.folk:

"After a surfeit of turkey, wine and mince pies, why not come to the 'Round the Room' at the Cock at 8pm and work it all off? Sing &/or play, or just listen! Everyone and all instruments welcome. (even bodhrans!) We are right in the South of [Cambridge] on the borders of Essex and Suffolk, 4 miles from Haverhill.
For further details contact Alan Hardy on 01799 584718 or the pub on 01799 584207"

This is in fact a monthly session on the last monday of every month, festivals, holidays etc. permitting.

This message was previously posted to a thread in the "BS:" section but clearly needs to be promoted

I see there's no date in that, but as you can work out it's December 29.

I would have thought that it was more on the border of Essex and Cambridgeshire.

Don't worry about the geography. It never stopped me from finding it!
The Cock is a great pub, the singing and music is good and it is worth a visit. You get all sorts of singers & performers there and sandwiches in the interval if you are lucky!
Colin & Karen Cater run the evening. All are welcome.
See you next Monday.
Mary
