Just got DSL and am looking for a station in Chicago that is supposed to be a great folk music station. Heard about this from a freind...can anyone help? thanks Unc Bill.

www.wfmt.com Rich Warren hosts "Midnight Special" and presents an amazing show.   Unfortunately WFMT does not stream or archive their shows.   You might be able to catch the show on other stations around the country. I know that WUMB airs it, and it is also available on the XM Satellite network.

WFMT has not streamed for the past year or two. Other stations that carry "Midnight Special" might. WUMB does.

Gee. I 've been looking for Chicago radio stations today, too - but I was looking for old broadcasts of "Chicken Man." I found 'em, too - Click here.

WDCB is Public radio from the College of DuPage. Go to:

http://www.wdcb.org/

You can find the on-line link to their broadcast. Jazz during the day, but folk, bluegrass, country (real country) and Mountain Stage on Friday night. Absoluetely great radio.
