I received a CD for Christmas. Mary O'Callahan playing the Hammered Dulcimer. I was impressed with her playing. Does anyone know anything about her. Where is she from? Other recordings? Personal background? The CD I have is called "Hammered dulcimer Christmas". Appreciate any information I can get.

Nothing came up on Google when I typed "hammered dulcimer christmas" + "mary o'callahan". There's a cd of that name by Linda Lowe Thompson, though. Just typing Mary's name in Google gets lots of geneological sites, and one that appears to be an actress. What company put out the cd? Have you contacted them?

Maybe the title of this thread is wrong. But maybe some of you hammered dulcimer people out can give me some help. Someone must have run into Mary at some point. Appreciate your help.

I've not heard of her. PM Catspaw49...he does hammered dulcimer....
