The song is about the Great Lakes region, not the Newfoundland outports.

Thankee, Sorch... Actually, the song is fir the P-Vine for one of her music classes and since she never misses an opportunity to re-inform me that playin' on the pudder is a waste of time, maybe I'll get a couple days off with out the chin music...
